about this team
Global Fulfillment (GF) is responsible for all physical product movements from the shipping dock of factories to our store or guest, including distribution, logistics, trade compliance and engineering. The team completes this objective while scaling for growth and achieving targeted performance, including service, costs and employee safety.

The Distribution Center (DC) Optimization Program team oversees initiatives within the DCs related to functionality (productivity), channels, geography (Team Canada), and non-strategic- facility upgrades. The team supports initiatives in both Canada and the United States Distribution Centers. The team is responsible for leading initiatives through the planning, execution, delivery, and supporting phases, with the ultimate directive to complete initiatives on time and on budget while following PMO standards.

a day in the life

  • Manage a large high-complexity program or multiple concurrent projects within the Global Fulfillment Distribution portfolio and partner with PMO leadership and Distribution Leadership to build detailed project plans, facility charter creation, including integration touchpoints, dependencies, and sequencing
  • Monitor program and project performance against plan as measured by milestones, KPIs, and supporting metrics
  • Actively manage, and provide line-of-sight to PMO and functional leadership to issues, risks, and required decisions across the program scope and component workstreams
  • Maintain consolidated resource and timeline views across the program
  • Manage the tracking of program budget, change requests, and intake management
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities to drive productivity, reduce costs, better leverage resources, and increase operational efficiency
  • Monitoring projects and overseeing project managers to ensure goals are met
  • Work with internal stakeholders to create program and project charters (scope, objectives, cost, benefits, resourcing, risks) and workplans
  • Build and efficiently communicate program status
qualifications

  • B.A./B.S. in Business, Engineering, or technical area required
  • MBA or other Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in consulting, project management, program management, or a similar field with a minimum of 3 years in a management role
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Experience in Project Management and Consumer Supply Chain Operations preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project
  • High-level management and leadership skills
  • Ability to schedule and manage tasks effectively
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Risk management • Written and verbal communication skills
