Job Title: Manufacturing Lab Technician

Location: Rocklin, CA (onsite)

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, M-F

Compensation: $25/hr - $29/hr

**This is a contract temporary position, may be Contract to Hire**

MilliporeSigma in Rocklin, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Lab Technician to add to their Upstream Manufacturing team. The Upstream Manufacturing Lab Technician performs laboratory operations required to manufacture and monitor antibody production including cell culture, bioreactors, transient transfection, ELISA, and tissue staining according to established manufacturing procedures with some supervision. The Upstream Manufacturing Lab Technician completes required tasks and is responsible for following standard operating procedures involving laboratory techniques, calculations, material measurements, operation of laboratory equipment and record keeping as necessary.

Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications

• AA/AS in a biological science or biochemistry field with two to three years cell culture experience OR Bachelor's degree in a Life Science discipline

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience culturing mammalian cell lines strongly preferred
• Experience following Standard Operating Procedures, accurate completion of Manufacturing Procedure batch records, adherence to Quality and Regulatory requirements strongly preferred
• Previous experience in FDA regulated biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of FDA QSRs and ISO 13485 or other related industry standards preferred; experience with SAP or other ERP system is strongly preferred
• Good computer skills, including MS 365
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management and project management skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to create clear, concise, written reports and accurately complete batch records
• Knowledge of SAP NEXT strongly preferred
