Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $18/hour - $20/hour. Actual rate will vary based on a candidate’s location, qualifications, skills, and experience.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

As our Material Handler, you'll process customer orders by pulling, packing and shipping orders accurately and timely. You’ll also receive product into inventory. You'll be responsible for monitoring flow and restocking product and doing inventory counts. You'll also be responsible for retrieving, re-packing orders and loading/ unloading trailers. You'll help to maintain product inventory by receiving, locating and transferring product accurately and timely. You'll research and resolve inventory issues to ensure order fulfillment. You'll work with an RF scan gun, computers, manual data management systems (SKUNEXUS & MAGENTO, SAP etc) and will use material handling equipment. You may have the opportunity to develop base line leadership skills by leading groups of contract workers or NIKE employees. You'll analyze the daily work as required. You'll participate in projects and teams to continuously improve the operation and key result areas (safety, quality, service, and cost). You'll also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment, in addition to performing other operational duties and seeding’s as required.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment
  • High School diploma or GED is preferred
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work a rotating day shift schedule and overtime or weekends with short notice
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to count accurately and perform simple math functions
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously”
