Medical Assistant

Floral Long Term Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to assist with staff/residents/family COVID testing in a long term care facility.

Medical Assistant Requirements:

• Medical Assistant must have a Medical Assistant degree/dimploma.
• The facility is very fast-paced so the candidate has to be able to keep up and catch on quickly.
• We need someone who is a quick learner, a hard worker, has excellent attendance, and superb customer service skills.
• The candidate must be both professional and friendly and enjoy working with staff, the patients and their families.
• Candidate must be computer savvy and able to use electronic medical records software easily. Candidate must understand the importance of HIPAA Compliance.

Medical Assistant Duties could include: injections, lab swabs, vaccinations, taking vitals, assisting with prior authorizations, triage calls.

Experience:

• 1 year preferred customer service
• 1 year preferred certified medical assistant
• 1 year preferred medical office
