Job Description

OB/Gyn Practice looking for Full-time/Part-time Medical Assistant.

Duties are as followed:

Administrative Duties

  • Scheduling appointments
  • Answering emails and phone calls
  • Welcoming patients at the front desk
  • Coordinate laboratory services, hospital admissions, and insurance information
  • Utilizing computer programs to update medical records and handle billing and bookkeeping

Clinical Duties

  • Administering medications
  • Collecting a patient’s medical history
  • Preparing the patient for their examination
  • Measuring vital signs, like temperature and blood pressure
  • Assisting the gynecologist or obstetrician during appointments
  • Explaining to the patient what will happen during their exam, treatment, or procedure
  • Providing information to the patient about their medications, special diets, or anything else they’ve been prescribed

Salary $17-21 based on previous experience & knowledge

Part-time & Full-time Position avaliable.

Open to be able to travel between two locations:

Elmont Office: 2015 Linden Blvd Elmont NY 11003

Tuesdays, Wednesdays 9AM-to-5PM

Richmond Hill Office: 104-14 113th St Richmond Hill NY 11419

Monday, Thursday, Saturday 9am to 5PM

*Associates/Bachelors Preferred*

*Drivers license required*
