San Diego Uptown Pediatrics is a small, established private pediatrics practice located in central San Diego. We provide both comprehensive preventative care and urgent care when needed. We value the relationships we build with our patients over time.
San Diego Uptown Pediatrics is looking for a full-time medical assistant to join our team. The position will be appproximately 80% front office duties and 20% back office duties. Qualified candidates will have a certificate in medical assisting. Experience working in pediatrics is a plus.
Front office duties include answering phones, scheduling patients, checking in patients, validating insurance, and collecting co-pays and patient balances. Back office duties include rooming patients, taking vitals, performing in office point of care tests, and administering immunizations.
We currently have an excellent staff. Our ideal candidate is reliable, works well as part of a team, and enjoys working with children.
