The ideal candidate for this full-time position will be someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and motivated. Your primary responsibilities will be facilitating the patient flow and obtaining pertinent information. This position involves 90% front desk and phone work as well as filling in the back-office MA as needed.


Essential Functions:

  • Schedule appointments, handle incoming calls, and appropriately route messages.
  • Managing the check-in/check-out process, which includes obtaining or confirming demographic information, insurance verification, collecting patient responsibility, processing appropriate forms.
  • Communicating with patients and referring entities to gather necessary information for registration and insurance eligibility.
  • Accurately documents patient care including vitals, changes, and response to care.
  • Prepares lab and x-ray results for physician review.
  • Sets up and restocks exam rooms.
  • Performs patient callbacks and documents interaction.
  • Manage front desk administrative tasks.
  • Ensures and facilitates patient flow and assists physicians with procedures and examinations.
  • Accurately obtain chief complaint, medication list, history, and other pertinent information. Communicate information to the physician.
  • Ability to perform injections and vital signs with proficient use of associated equipment.
  • Prepares necessary paperwork/files information in the chart.
  • Communicate, observe, and report the patient's condition.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical Assistant certification.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
