Fulltime – 8:0am – 4:30pm

We are seeking new and experienced
Medical Secretaries to join our extraordinary team!

As a Medical Secretary you will:

  • Answer telephone calls, handle routine inquiries, and refer non-routine matters to appropriate persons. Obtain, complete and follow up on all necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner. Maintains records and ensures documentation is scanned into patient records.
  • Schedule patient appointments and tests, coordinating with appropriate personnel as necessary. Schedule return visit appointments as appropriate assuring smooth functioning.
  • Assist team with all facets of preparing for patient visits or processing post visit documentation. Assure completion of Consent to Treat, HIPAA and other forms as appropriate.
  • Maintain electronic patient charts. Organize and prepare the necessary information, reports, records, charts and correspondence before the patient arrives for appointment.
  • Obtain necessary registration information on patients, co-pays, necessary referral forms and authorizations to forward to billing.

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must have either one (1) year of previous customer service experience or completed an accredited or approved Administrative Assistant program within the last 12 months
  • Previous healthcare or medical office experience is preferred.
