Hours: Part-Time, 24 hours, Nights (10:45 pm-7:15 am)

This is a benefits eligible position with 3rd shift weekday and weekend shift differentials.

Pay starting at $30.88/hour and up based on experience.

Position Summary:

The Medical Technologist/MLT/MLS performs complex analytical procedures within the laboratory using practical and theoretical knowledge of clinical procedures and instrumentation. Phlebotomy is performed by dedicated phlebotomists at all sites.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with MT/MLS (ASCP) generalist certification OR Associate's Degree with MLT (ASCP) generalist certification or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Epic Beaker Experience
• WellSky Blood Bank Experience
• Familiarity with current instrumentation.

• 12 Jones Hollow Road, Marlborough, CT (STAT ED Lab/ Outpatient Collection)
• 250 Flat Rock Place, Westbrook CT (STAT ED Lab/Outpatient Collection
• 534 Saybrook Road, Middletown, CT (STAT Lab and Outpatient Collection)

• WellSky for Blood Bank

Instrumentation (>80% of all results are auto verified):

• Chemistry: Siemens - Advia XPT, Centaur XPT (Centaur CP at offsites), Aptio Track System; Rapid Point 500e Blood Gas Analyzers; Hologic TLiQ, Advanced Instruments Micro Osmometer.
• Hematology: Sysmex - XN 3100 Automation Line, SP-50 Stainer, DI-60 CellaVision, ACL TOP350, XN-550 (at offsites); bioMerieux Vidas, Bio Rad D-100 HbA1c Analyzer, Alcor iSED ESR Analyzer.
• Microbiology: bioMerieux - Vitek II XL, Virtuo; Hologic Panther, Cepheid Gene Xpert (Xpress at offsites), BD Veritor
• Urinalysis: Siemens - Novus w/ UF1000i, Clinitek Status
• Blood Bank (Core Lab Only): Ortho Vision Automated Blood Bank System
