Information Environment Advanced Analysis (IEAA) Course – Mentor
Job Summary:
JMark Services is a trusted advisor to Military, Academic, and Commercial markets customers, pointing the way to achieve and maintain information advantage in Digital-Age competition and conflict. JMark executes the only Joint Chiefs of Staff certified Information Operations course addressing Information Environment characterization, threat assessment, and operational planning ingrained with a wealth of critical thinking. Due to continually increasing JMark’s Advanced Learning Programs Leadership is searching for mentors to expand the cadre of experts to o guide IEAA participants. The educational objective is to attain an applicable knowledge of operational information and influence skills to facilitate designing operations to secure combined effects throughout the competition and conflict continuum in today’s Digital Age.
Position type: Part Time and Full Time positions
Clearance: TS with SCI eligibility
Salary: Commensurate with Senior Executive Consultant rates
Primary Tasks:
  • Lead classroom learning sessions with a dynamic student-mentor exchange of ideas and debate
  • Mentor students (analysts, planners, operators) to work together in a highly interactive curriculum on the complex, information-heavy problems currently facing policymakers and commanders
  • Provide analytic concepts, ops-design approaches, and assessment tools guidance, so students can conceptualize, characterize, and address complex problems in the global information environment
  • Guide participants in effectively Integrating information-focused activities into multi-level assessments and plans to deny, disrupt deceive or corrupt an adversary’s decision making capacity
  • Aid students in developing operational designs to integrate an all-domain information campaign
  • Assist in creating tools to precisely characterize the information environment
  • Construct and deliver comprehensive strategies-to-tasks and supporting tactics, techniques, and procedures
  • Provide a mentoring focus for students on the open-ended problems and conflicts addressed in the National Security Strategy
  • Provide the instructional guidance to students to account for the whole of government and international institutions in waging conflict in the gray areas between peace and armed conflict,
  • Lead educational sessions to enhance student awareness of the full integration of physical and informational power
  • Lead forums providing senior leaders with a deeper understanding of the Information Environment and synergies of kinetic and non-kinetic activities to achieve effects and objectives
  • Lead forums to equip senior executives with approaches, techniques, and tools enabling their organization to better characterize, forecast, target and wargame in the global information environment
  • Provide seasoned inputs to enhance and update educational curricula, syllabi, lesson plans, along with scenario-based practical exercise, and expanding training or learning objectives
  • Conduct ongoing evaluation processes accounting for student performance assessment to continually advance course progress and updates
  • Guide and mentor students on a detailed, real-world exercise including advanced analytic techniques, methods, and concepts applied to leveraging the Information Environment.
  • Provide insight to the operational constructs linking the Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment and the Joint Planning Process
Required Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in information operations, political science, world history, military strategy, or related fields
  • Senior positions with over 20 years’ experience in intelligence and/or operations experience with the information environment in DOD, FBI, Department of State, or Law Enforcement
  • Extensive experience developing and delivering advanced academic and/or education programs
  • Current valid passport
  • Possess a full knowledge of advanced analytic techniques and a thorough understanding of current operations and challenges encountered by analysts, planners, and operators in the global information environment
