Description:
The Employee Health Nurse (EHN) provides evaluation, direct care, assessment, and referrals to team members utilizing observation and assessment skills, while practicing in accordance with legal parameters, guidelines, and standards for occupational and industrial nursing. The EHN possesses a working knowledge of OSHA, ADAAA, and NIOSH resources, worker's compensation injury and illness initial assessment, phlebotomy skills, drug screening, and placement evaluations. Additional responsibilities include assisting with Americans with Disability Act Amendment Act as needed, providing coverage at all BayCare Employee Health locations, and other duties that are assigned. Based on hiring volume, work load, special events, and staffing needs, travel to all BayCare locations required. Required specific skills also include phlebotomy skills.
