Job Description

Position: Occupational therapist (OT)

Location: Bronx, NY 10472 (Soundview)

Type: Preschool, Ages 3-5

Schedule: 5 days Per Week - 8am - 2pm

Sessions: 10

Hourly Rate: $ 43

Summary: Occupational therapists treat injured, ill, or disabled patients patients ages 3 - 5 with special needs to help these patients develop, recover, improve, as well as maintain the skills needed for daily living.

Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services to children aged birth to 3 years in their most natural environment.
Educate family members and caregivers on different intervention strategies
Provide services in school settings.
Follow Individualized Family Service Plan, collaborate ongoing treatment, and facilitate goals for parents.
Complete daily session notes after treatment.
Prepare progress reports as per program timelines.
Maintain client records in a confidential secure manner.
Maintain the highest clinical and ethical standards in service provision.

Requirements

Graduate of Accredited Occupational Therapy Program
NYS Licensed Occupational Therapist
2 years of OT experience
Proof of Full Covid-19 Vaccination
