+ Operations Coordinator
An Operations Coordinator oversees the daily operations of their assigned retail store and performs the duty of Retail Store Manager at other company-owned locations as needed. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the store's sales, inventory, and customer-facing staff while ensuring the store is meeting its sales targets and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Additionally, the Operations Coordinator will be responsible for leading seasonal markets and events in the surrounding area and will oversee our eCommerce platform, performing item management tasks as needed.
+ Essential Job Functions
Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, staff, inventory, and customer service Schedule employee shifts at multiple locations
Lead Visual Merchandising strategies with employees and complete monthly check-ins with leadership Perform Managerial and Training duties at surrounding company-owned locations as needed.
Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing and that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
Screen new job applications for Customer Service Representatives and forward a list of recommended applicants to the Director of Operations
Train, and supervise staff, ensuring that they meet performance expectations and adhere to company policies and procedures
Create window displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans, and special promotion displays that promote new and sunsetting products and attract customers
Set and monitor sales targets, and develop plans to achieve these targets
Implement strategic plans including marketing campaigns, special promotions, employee reorganizations, workplace culture training
Identify emerging trends and sell through rates
Report retail key performance indicators weekly. These reports include: Foot Traffic, Sales/SQ FT, Customer Satisfaction, Customer Retention, and Order Processing Speed for eCommerce Sales Monitor inventory levels for merchandise and submit Requests for Restock to Procurement weekly Monitor inventory levels for retail store and event supplies and work with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of stock
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement effective online promotional campaigns and product launches
Monitor website traffic and sales performance, analyzing data and making necessary improvements to increase conversions and revenue
Work with retail stores and warehouses to maintain accurate inventory reporting
Implement and maintain eCommerce best practices for SEO, user experience, and customer retention Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations, and recommend new features or technologies to improve the website's performance and customer experience
Lead events and seasonal markets in the surrounding area
Oversee operations of our eCommerce platform, performing item management tasks as needed Conduct performance reviews with staff members
+ Education and Experience
At least 5 years of experience in retail management, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise staff Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Asana, inventory management software, and point-of-sale systems Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Experience managing eCommerce websites, preferably in retail and consumer goods Proficiency in eCommerce platforms such as Shopify and Square
Strong analytical and reporting skills and ability to interpret website data analytics to present informed decisions to the Director of Operations and CEO
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and PPC advertising
Salary Range: $18-20/hour - Full Time Salary
