Operations Manager
Description:
We are seeking energetic, service-oriented individuals capable of providing high impact supervision for our Security Officers in commercial and school settings. The Operations Manager is responsible for the training and supervising of security officers and overseeing daily operations at multiple sites by following internal procedures, post orders, and client instructions. The ideal candidate will be resilient, detail oriented, tech savvy, have a high sense of accountability, be willing to work in the field as needed, constantly be in the field engaging with clients and officers. They will lead teams while always maintaining professionalism.
Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts in a 2-week cycle

Reports
to: Director of Security
Pay: $45,000.00 per year
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to security officers, ensuring they understand the Company's standards, goals and overall, Mission Statement
- Address and solve problems that require immediate attention, utilizing your problem-solving skills and knowledge of security protocols
- Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents, gathering relevant information and documenting findings
- Oversee the processes involved in proactive monitoring and enhancing the physical security at all client sites
- Provide and coordinate on the job training for new hires along with field training for current employees
- Fill in a post in case of an employee call out or lateness
- Write detailed and accurate incident reports, documenting security-related occurrences and actions taken
- Reviewing incident reports written by our officers for completeness and accuracy before approving
- Demonstrate intimate knowledge of all sites to include Post orders, proper uniform and employee appearance standards
- Interacts with clients, employees and management in a professional manner
- Coordinates with other team members to provide a safe and secure environment
- Communicate effectively with all levels of commercial, school staff and administration, fostering string working relationships
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in the security field with at least 2 years in a supervisory/leadership role or 5 years of Law Enforcement experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory/leadership role
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite of tools
- Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle, supervisor will use their own vehicle, mileage will be reimbursed according to government standards
- Must be flexible with filling in at client sites (on call)
- Must be professional and courteous with supervisors, subordinates, and fellow team members
