The Oregon Clinic's Ear, Nose, and Throat Northeast division is seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant to join our busy clinic located at the Providence Plaza Medical Office Building in NE Portland. Workdays will be Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00 pm. This position is responsible for rooming patients, obtaining vitals, phlebotomy, giving injections, assisting physicians, phone triage, scheduling appointments, and any other duties as assigned. In addition, this position will back up the front desk and provide other support as needed. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and solid prior experience. We are looking for a team member who is detail oriented, strong at multi-tasking and dedicated to high quality patient care. Prior experience within ENT is a plus! New Grads welcome to apply! Level and pay depend on experience: $21.13 - $28.59 per hour.

Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of previous experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
  • New graduates with excellent externship/clinical references may be considered. Must be certified within 90 days of hire.
  • Certification through a national agency such as AAMA, NCCT, etc. is required.
  • Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire.
  • Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
  • Prior EMR experience strongly preferred; Centricity/AthenaPractice V20 experience a plus!
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Excellent prior work references.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
