Summary

Under general supervision applies knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures to interpret and apply company polices and government regulations in administration of payroll. Consult with and advises employees on payroll issues. This position must ensure timely and accurate processing of employee payroll and ensure full compliance with the wage/hour regulations, company policies and procedures. Also responsible for accurate and timely data management of all employees in the HRIS and Time/Attendance systems.

Major Responsibilities

1st Priority - 25%

Enter, process, and balance the semi-monthly payroll. Ensure the accuracy and timely processing of payroll.

2nd Priority - 25%

Review timecards, attendance records, and meal/rest periods to ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.

3rd Priority - 15%

Review employee payroll data and documentation to ensure accuracy.

4th Priority - 15%

Validate the HRIS and Time/Attendance systems for all current employees, new hires and terminations.

5th Priority - 10%

Respond to employee inquiries regarding questions to paychecks, time and attendance, and other payroll related matters.

6th Priority - 10%

Creates miscellaneous reports requested by management. Processes verification of employment and any other ad hoc projects.

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

Overall Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years of payroll experience

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Analytical, organized and ability to plan workload.
Experience with ADP WorkForce Now required.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax, labor laws, and regulations
Knowledge of payroll functions
Maintain and develop time and attendance system.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PC skills: Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
SuccessFactors HRIS experience a plus

Pay Range

$57,428.00 - $74,679.00

Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
