Job Summary We are searching for an experienced Pet Groomer to join our new grooming business. As a Pet Groomer, you will bathe and trim cats & dogs according to breed-specific standards and owner preferences. You will also trim nails, clean ears, detangle hair and generally ensure that pets look and feel their best. MUST be customer focused. If you are reliable, compassionate, and have a love for pets, we want to hear from you!
Set your own hours.
Open Mon – Sat, 10 – 7pm.
We are a small location that holds 1 – 2 pets max.
Commission based
You keep 100% of tips

Responsibilities

• Brush and detangle or remove matted fur
• Bathe and dry coat
• Execute a variety of clipping techniques and style requests
• Examine for parasites or other skin conditions
• Trim nails
• Ensure the safety of pet at all times
• Adhere to strict sanitary and cleaning procedures
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with pet owners

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dog grooming technician or similar role
• Comfortable working with anxious animals
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift large dogs over 60 pounds
• Able to communicate effectively with owners
• Strong attention to detail
