Phlebotomist position at Poudre Valley Hospital with UCHealth!

The Phlebotomist role collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory.

Schedule:

• Full Time, 70 hours / pay period
• Nights

Requirements:

• Minimum Required Education: High School Diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program preferred.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS and ACLS card must be good through sixty days of hire. All life support certification cards must be issued by either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will need to be through an American Heart Association sanctioned course.)

If you have not completed an accredited phlebotomy program, we will consider candidates for a Phlebotomy Associate position where you can take advantage of UCHealth's Ascend program to pursue a phlebotomy program and explore other levels of phlebotomy.

Experienced Phlebotomists also have the opportunity to progress and increase their scope and development into Phlebotomist levels II and III.

The pay range for this position is: $18.00 - 24.10 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
