We’re hiring immediately and we will train you! Vitalant is currently seeking entry level and experienced phlebotomists to join our Mobile Team #1 and help our dedicated team provide blood and blood products to local hospitals and patients. Whether you are just starting your career, or if you’re new to the blood banking industry, we’re here to train, mentor, and help you grow.

Our ideal candidate is looking for variable shift options and is excited to travel regionally to deliver comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences to our donors.

As a mobile phlebotomist, you’ll use your phlebotomy and customer service skills as you participate on blood drives in and around town in one of our recognizable vehicles; other days you’ll use your skills at one of our many donation centers, building relationships with our donors. Every day you’ll be having fun making a measurable difference in your community.


What to Expect

Schedule: 5 Day Work Week, every other weekend, Hours typically between 6:00 am-8:00 pm (Variable Start Times)

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Greet blood donors and make them comfortable with the procedure, answering questions about the process as needed
  • Perform blood draws (PAID TRAINING PROVIDED)
  • Drive the company vehicle, as needed
  • Work as part of a team to achieve daily production goals
  • Maintain accurate records
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Active driver’s license (with clean driving record) and reliable personal transportation
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Able to lift 40lbs
