The River Valley Media Group is seeking a collaborative and energetic visual journalist to join our award-winning newsrooms.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional photo and video skills and a passion for visual storytelling. We’re looking for a creative thinker who will work with our talented team of editors, reporters and others to elevate our journalism and expand our audience reach. Experience with photojournalism and sports photography, videography, drone photography, live-streaming video and multimedia journalism are highly desirable.

This position can be based in the River Valley Media Group’s La Crosse, Wisconsin or Winona, Minnesota offices and includes work in both communities.

We value memorable and consequential journalism that consistently grows audience in our competitive market. River Valley Media Group is upgrading its photography equipment to ensure our visual journalist has the latest professional-grade photo tools at the ready.

This position includes some night, weekend and holiday work.
