Farrers Fire Protection is currently hiring for [Pipefitters]. We are based out of Charlotte, NC and servicing the Carolinas. If you are looking to join the team please submit an application today!

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• General labor duties [Pipefitting] *CPVC Plus
• Ability to read and comprehend Drawings
• Experienced and Certified with scissor lifts, and working at high elevations or the ability obtain the certification within 60 days.
• Completing required T&M paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Providing customers with industry leading expertise and discussing the Scope of work on projects.
• Well organized, neat, and able to work independently.
• Adhere to all company rules and safety guidelines.
• Able to work a smart phone. (IPHONE)
• Knowledgeable and comfortable using hand tools, and power tools (channel locks, drills, etc.)
• Pipe thread machine experience REQUIRED
• Out of town stay limited for this position. Per diem + Hotel is provided when needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license [Clean Driving Record]
• Knowledge of NFPA Codes
• Must be able to obtain Required Certifications within [90] Days of Hire date.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.

Preferred

• Fire protection experience is preferred but training is provided to meet company standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
