Summary

Council for Airport Opportunity (CAO) is a non-profit organization that supports the airport community with its talent acquisition needs. CAO has a proven track record for sourcing and staffing the right talent for top companies at JFK, Newark, and LaGuardia Airports. The Porter will work onsite at LGA Airport.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Accepts and receives incoming products into the warehouse, and delivers merchandise, as requested, to locations within the terminal.
• Verifies accuracy of incoming merchandise against invoice.
• Organizes merchandise and stocks appropriately.
• Cleans sanitizes and organizes the storeroom including shelving, floors, lights, and vents.
• Communicates run-outs and service/quality problems to Supervisor/MOD.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 85 lbs. on occasion
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Must be reliable and available to work varied hours, weekends, and holidays
