Salesforce Scrum Master

Position Description
CGI is looking for a Salesforce scrum master, with experience in best practices of managing the development, testing, and support processes in a software development project life cycle, you will provide DevOps planning and implementation for our customers including continuous delivery, optimization, monitoring, release management and support of the end-to-end release process. You will be responsible for supporting the full implementation cycle for cloud-based and on-premise environments, they will need to support clients during and post-launch ensuring collaboration among all teams to be successful. You must have a deep understanding of both development and operations processes, as well as a strong technical background.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Organize and facilitate all scrum-related meetings (stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews,
demos...).
Work with the team to develop plans, and roadmaps and manage the backlog.
Communicate team plans, report impediments for escalation, and identify risks/concerns
to relevant stakeholders to help resolve.
Ensuring all work is supervised in the backlog and accurately balanced across team
members
Monitor team backlog daily and ensure it accurately reflects the current state of the
sprint.
Work with product owners and stakeholders to refine the vision and establish goals and
metrics.
Track and communicate team velocity and sprint progress to all affected teams and
management.
Assess the scrum maturity level of the team and mentor them to reach higher levels.
Guide the team to improve and take ownership of their actions.
Organize and facilitate the product release by following all the governance standards.
Recommend improvements and drive alignment across teams.
Lead and influence the team's standard methodologies.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
6+ Years of Software Development experience
Minimum 3+ years of delivering Agile programs and acting as a Scrum Master
Should have a technical background with exposure to Salesforce
Proficiency and experience with encouraging Agile behaviors, reinforcing practices, norms, and ceremonies, and supporting the overall Squad performance and efficiency
Agile/Scrum Fundamentals - WHY and HOW
Understanding of JIRA/Kanban boards
Certified Scrum Master (CSM or SAFe SSM)
Effective planning and facilitation skills
Good communication skills; ability to clearly articulate and detail technical concepts to a targeted audience
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Tight-knit collaboration skills with the ability to collaborate with other specialists including distributed team members
Contributor towards improvement by suggesting better ideas for all aspects of the development

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $75,600 - $186,000.
