Job Description

Busy grooming salon is seeking a compassionate, detail oriented, and energetic pet groomer for full time employment. Duties include:

• Professionally perform grooming services including brushing, bathing, clipping hair, ear cleaning, and trimming nails.
• Work with each pet parent to understand their expectations for their pet and consult breed profiles/ standards when clipping or trimming an animal’s coat.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of animals in your care.
• Use grooming equipment and tools including clippers, shears, and drying equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service to all pets and pet parents.
• Interact professionally with all staff members.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures. Safety of people and pets is paramount and compliance with all safety procedures is mandatory.
• Ensure grooming salon cleanliness.

Amount of commission depends on experience. Experience working in a grooming facility is required. If you have not groomed in a grooming facility in the past, please do not apply. We do NOT provide on the job training. You will be asked to provide a portfolio of your most recent work along with your resume. Our facility is open Monday through Friday with no weekend work.
