Our client are a well-respected and renowned consultancy who provide integrated hardware solutions to a variety of customers. They have a focus on the space sector but not exclusively, and they specialise in the analysis of thermal and mechanical systems.

They have an exciting opening for a Project Manager with a strong Structural Analysis background to join the team, and I am looking to speak to candidates with experience leading groups of engineers through analysis projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead on projects involving structural FEA for a range of solutions and load types.
• Manage all aspects of the structural analysis projects, including project planning & staffing, customer communication, solving complex problems through deciding the technical approach, delegate and review technical work, successfully complete project within schedule and budget.
• Own relationships with customers: build, develop, and grow business relationships.
• Contribute to sales efforts by writing proposals and presenting engineering capabilities.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.

Skills & Experience

• BS and/or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural, or similar Engineering field.
• Experience leading groups of engineers on analysis projects.
• Expertise in one or more of the following groups of mechanical analysis tools is required:
• FEMAP, Hypermesh
• (Workbench, ADPL, & family of mechanical simulation software)
• Hypermesh
• US Citizen
