Job Responsibilities
TechSur is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for running complex programs and projects, from the design and development phases and supporting production and deployment.
- Is the owner of customer-facing project delivery for IT solutions aimed at government – Federal, State, and Local
- Provide functional and technical leadership towards building customer-centric solutions
- Effective planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and management of work requests and related tasks utilizing strong and pervasive project management expertise for IT projects and IT management
- Understands project requirements from both a business and a technical standpoint and serves as the liaison between business users and the project team
- Demonstrate leadership skills to manage project resources and cultivate strong customer relationships
- Build effective relationships and collaborate multiple stakeholders and vendors to deliver outcomes across the organization, ensuring a shared understanding of progress and performance
- Operate under high degree of ambiguity. Ensure that stated and unstated goals, business issues, concerns and priorities are surfaced and understood
- Measure project performance and report progress to business unit leadership team.
- Develop strategies for contingency planning and risk mitigation; identify and solve project issues effectively
- Translate customer experiences into clear program requirements and execution strategy, perform supporting research and analysis, prioritize initiatives, and drive the end-to-end execution.
- Able to manage contractual, financial, and personnel related issues associated with project delivery
- Perform project resource management and capacity planning to make optimal use of resources
- Establish high-performing teams and be able to collaborate within and outside the organization.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience as a Project Manager or similar position
- Experience with project management experience in planning, estimating, resourcing, executing, monitoring, and managing mission critical systems.
- 4+ years delivery excellence experience
- Proven experience towards data driven decisions, insights, and analytics, for improving processes and building efficiencies.
- Proven ability to create effective relationships, listen, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels and be the voice of the customer.
- Has experience to deliver high quality products/projects within budget, scope, and schedule
Desired Skills/Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills to define requirements for project risks.
- Excellent organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
- Mastery of MS Project and other scheduling tools
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated experience on enterprise architecture.
- Agile (SAFe, CSM, PMI-ACP, CSPO, etc.) certifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business and management, information systems, computer science, or another related field
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
