Position Description:

The Purchasing Coordinator supports purchasing and supplier management. Providing clear communication to suppliers, designers, project managers, warehouse and installation teams are pertinent to deliver successful projects. Ensuring supplier performance and on-time delivery are extremely important. This is vital to the organization and supports our delivery of legendary service to our clients.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage FF+E purchasing activities for assigned projects in partnership with the Procurement Manager or Purchasing Manager
  • Prepare supplier lead time schedule and matrices per project
  • Participate in biweekly project review meetings with key stakeholders
  • Correspond and coordinate with design team, as required
  • Liaison between project manager and designer for construction schedule, coordinating purchasing schedule according to project and supplier lead times
  • Communicate with manufacturer representatives on product availability, costs, and specification information, as required
  • Review PO’s, RFI/RFPs, and order acknowledgments in support of the Procurement Manager or Purchasing Manager
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships vital for sourcing and effective, efficient deliveries, tracking against established KPIs
  • Models a highly organized approach to the purchasing and project process resulting in on time delivery
  • Track supplier PO’s and update system accordingly
  • Establish project delivery schedules that align with project deliverables
  • Provide weekly status reports outlining projected shipping and delivery dates
  • Ensure invoice accuracy in collaboration with accounting
  • Manage inventory levels required with suppliers

Start Date: Within 30 days

Work Hours: Typically, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM


Qualifications + Skills:

  • Entry-level position
  • Administrate or customer service experience, preferred
