Our QA Analysts plan, design and execute testing initiatives for basys products and solutions that solve complex business challenges for the commercial customers utilizing our growing benefits administration software suite. This full-time, W2 employment position can be based remotely or at our Baltimore, MD headquarters. Qualified candidates must be based in the US and meet US work authorization requirements (sponsorship is not available).

Responsibilities:

• Comprehensively test basys products and features, from customer facing portals to backend Claims & services platform.
• Continue to assist new product development team (.NET, Angular) bring to market at least two high quality products annually
• Play a lead role in the development and identification of verification scenarios via manual and automated test frameworks required to meet quality objectives
• Work collaboratively with Agile team, including Product Owner and onshore Developers, to deliver quality products
• Conduct variety of testing, including system, integration, functional, regression and performance based on established test plans and scripts
• Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments
• Document test scenarios and steps in the adherence to regression test plan/framework; track testing milestones and defects
• Support Production release and post release validations & defects.
• Participate in the creation of test data configuration/standardization and implementation
• Develop/determine creative approaches to address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retest, or usability
• Contribute to development of internal QA processes policies/standards
• Reports directly to Director, Software Solutions

Requirements:

• 4+ years' experience testing new software features or entirely new products, including modern Client Server and Web based applications is required
• Strong planning, designing and execution skills, to include use of automated test tools and frameworks
• Prior experience in highly collaborative, Agile-based and concurrent project environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience with scripting languages, SQL, API testing, CI/CD, benefit administration helpful
