The ideal candidate will assist the IT department with a wide range of projects in testing and knowledge documentation to support the development team. In this role, the QA Analyst will create and maintain test scenarios and test cases, execute tests to ensure development satisfies all requirements, and identify and log all bugs. QA Analyst will work with Lead QA Engineer to conduct system testing and publish test results to stakeholders. This individual should be comfortable creating and cleaning up test data. Objectives of this Role

Testing includes, but is not limited to:

  • Coordinate all aspects of testing activities, perform testing on various software systems and owning the quality of projects
  • Work with Lead QA Engineer to create Test Strategy and Test Plan
  • Identify test scenarios, write, and execute test cases
  • Review and clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Generate test data for short and long-term application needs
  • Document reported bugs to ensure development fix and re-test as needed
  • Troubleshoot quality issues and modify test procedures and documentation as needed
  • Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits
  • Effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical sides of the business in a clear and concise manner
  • Create, document, and perform regression, user interface, and performance testing to ensure live features still perform after changes. This includes, but is not limited to testing bug fixes, enhancements, and configuration changes
  • Create and maintain test suites
  • Proactively contribute, offer recommendations, and identify risks and solutions for test process/strategy

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ QA Analyst experience preferred
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Quick learner and effective interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Software Testing in Agile Methodology
  • Business requirements gathering and documentation
  • Experience in use of a test management system and support such as TestRail, Zephyr, QMetry, qTest, ZenDesk, etc.
