• Check for accuracy and perform in process dimensional measurement of machined and/or fabricated parts using acceptable measuring devices and standards.
• Prepare completed units for shipment by installing or applying name plate, lettering, or others as required.
• Perform layout or fit-up inspection when requested.
• Perform hardness tests and visual inspection
• Perform bundle inspections such as, but not limited to, skeletal assembly, in-process and final, before tube loading, and insertion into shell.
• Perform non-code NDE testing using acceptable procedures and standards.
• Set up and perform assignments based on shop practices and procedures.
• Prepare the QC data file for each job after completion ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Use prints to perform dimensional checks of completed parts and/or units.
• Perform inspections on all completed parts and components applying appropriate tag
• Inspect for and verify heat lot number as material is brought into production.
• Oversee/schedule all NDE operations.
• Track RT / UT jobs for shop.
• Order and maintain NDE supplies as needed.
• Attend morning and evening production meetings.
• Coordinate QC from morning meetings and roll-over for night shift.
• Interact with source Inspector as needed.
• Generate inspection reports for repair jobs.
• Inspect using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, scales, oscilloscope and vision prior to shipment.

• Knowledge- H.S. diploma or equivalent; or equivalent experience; knowledge of fabrication.
• Must pass drug, alcohol and physical pre employment requirements.

Buddy Ohmstede, Mack Lovering, and Albert Jarreau brought over 100 years of combined heat exchanger experience to start the company and provide the leadership and guidance necessary to establish the culture and environment required to succeed in a service business today. The shop was equipped with the machining and tooling required to ensure both the quality and speed needed to satisfy critical customer requirements. Once properly equipped, both the office and shop were staffed with some of the best heat exchanger people in the industry.
