Job Description

Rome Clifford Katz & Koerner, LLP is a successful growing firm located near Hartford Hospital with free private parking. Receptionist/Administrative Assistant duties and responsibilities include answering phones for a busy nine lawyer office and providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.

Responsibilities:

· Answer and direct phone calls

· Organize and schedule meetings and appointments

· Produce and distribute correspondence including but not limited to: letters, emails, faxes, and forms

· Maintain an electronic and in paper filing system

· Provide information by answering questions and requests

· Maintain calendar systems for the attorneys

· Handle multiple projects

· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

· Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning etc.

· Write and send letters and emails on behalf of other office staff

· Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

· Reply to email, telephone, or face to face inquiries

· Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient

· Greet and assist visitors to the office

· Photocopy/scan/print out documents on behalf of colleagues

Requirements:

· Proven admin or assistant experience

· Knowledge of office systems and procedures

· Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

· Attention to detail and problem solving skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational and planning skills

· Proficient in MS Office

· At least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area

· High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
