Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage hectic workload while maintaining a friendly and personal demeanor
• Handle potentially delicate situations such as upset or emotional clients or collecting payment
• Maintain accurate patient records and be able to properly maintain files
• Ability to self-start during times when the office is slow
• Ability to remain flexible due to somewhat unpredictable nature of job
• Computer experience is desired, but training will be provided for the computer system used at the office
• Type at least 45 WPM, familiarity with a keyboard
• Good vocabulary, grammar usage, accurate spelling
• Reliability and punctuality
• Good people skills and ability to get along with people of all backgrounds, patience with people and animals
• Professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude

Experience, Education, and/or Training

• High school education required
• 1 to 2 years experience as a receptionist or other similar job a plus

Salary and Benefits

• $17 -$22 / hour depending on experience and skill
