Now we have an exciting new opportunity for someone to join our Parks & Recreation team as our new Recreation Program Coordinator. This position organizes and manages a variety of youth recreation activities, and services for the City of Redmond, with an emphasis on active recreation such as Day Camps, Art, Music, and Dance and our various community center spaces and parks.
If you are a creative, innovative, and energetic individual who is passionate about providing high-quality recreation day camps and activities for youth, teens, and families this job may be right for you! This position will focus on recreation program development, building community partnerships, interacting with the public, and supervising staff, volunteers, and working with contracted service providers.
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, requires evening and weekend shifts to meet program demand and for program/staff supervision. You will also work at community centers, schools with some off-site travel.
Education and Experience

Base Pay starts at $18.00 per hour, plus $1.50 per hour shift differential. Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed. Clean windows and glass doors.
