Job Description
Shipyard Staffing is seeking a Recruiter/Coordinator for our Bremerton office, to serve the PACNORWEST area. The primary responsibility is to continually resource new talent for both skilled and unskilled positions to serve our clients' production needs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a strong work ethic and will work with a sense of urgency.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintain job boards to ensure posted jobs accurately reflect current needs;
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need, i.e. "build the bench";
- Attend job fairs
- Review all resumes and conduct interviews
- Conduct background and drug screenings
- Schedule medical qualifications as needed
- Work closely with customers to ensure submitted candidates meet their needs
- Meet new employees at the job site for first-day reporting
- Work with employees to resolve issues
