Job Summary and Qualifications

  • You will provide nursing care for a wide spectrum of illnesses and injuries including lifesaving procedures in all types of emergency and trauma situations to chronic medical problems, minor illnesses and injuries.
  • You will maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the Emergency/Trauma clinical setting.
  • You will participate in organizational and unit based quality improvement activities. Completes required competencies within the defined time frames.
  • You will maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team.
  • You will support the mission, philosophy and goals of the HCA Hospital.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
  • Current Nevada Registered Nurse (R.N.) license.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS. CPI must be obtained within 90 days from date of hire/transfer. ENPC must be obtained within 9 months of Hire/Transfer.
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in an emergency department of an acute care
  • Facility preferred. Minimum one (1) year critical care experience and/or the successful completion of a recognized critical care course or Orientation to Emergency Nursing Course.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
