What does a Research Analyst do at Swire Coca-Cola?
The Research Analyst position will understand the insights required throughout the business to assist a report development team in supplying the data, with a wide variety of tasks that help us make the organization smarter and more efficient. The right candidate will express extreme curiosity, insatiable desire to learn, inquisitive, analytical, excellent communication of complex or technical topics, ability to translate ambiguity to executable tasks, ability to prioritize initiatives based on ROI.
Data can improve every part of the company, from supply chain & delivery efficiencies to employee retention and attracting the right talent. The purpose of the Enterprise Research & Analytics team is to create data that is easier to consume and use throughout the organization while also keeping a finger on the pulse of our market, consumers, and future.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret qualitative input and write user stories for Product Owner
- Create feedback collection best practices to determine if research and data reporting products are meeting the needs of clients and improving business functions
- Conduct user interviews among internal clients that use data reporting products
- Coordinate external primary and secondary research initiatives (survey writing, data procurement, interviews, etc.)
- Make recommendations on research that can help drive business improvements
- Interpret then present primary and secondary data to identify trends using talking points to illustrate salient data
- Create methods to track the use and ROI of data reporting products
- Understand client needs of data reporting products and work with Product Owner to prioritize development
- Coordinate research initiatives with Data Science team
- Ensure that projects continue moving forward by providing direction and holding project teams accountable to deliver
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required
- Preference of Bachelor’s degree will be given to fields requiring statistical discipline (business, mathematics, economics, statistics).
- 2 – 5 years of market research, product management, data analysis, or a related field
- Experience managing technical projects
- Ability to understand trends in research and analytics
- Apply learnings, insights, and recommendations to drive critical business growth objectives
