Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer for Community, you will be responsible for the protection and safety of patients, visitors and staff, including property. You will maintain a high-profile security presence while staying committed to excellence. Qualifications:
Education
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
Experience
- 1 year of law enforcement, security, military or other relevant experience required
- Advanced military, law enforcement or security training preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- DL - Valid California Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Community Health System required
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
- GUARD - State of California Guard Card required
CHS HealthStream Course
- CPS - OC (Pepper) Spray Endorsement required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
- BATON - Baton Endorsement preferred
