What does Systems Integration & Test (SI&T) do?

SI&T integrates, verifies, and validates our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.

Job Summary

The Engineering Prototyping & Fabrication department is seeking an administrative Senior Analyst to work in an engineering environment to coordinate engineering hardware in accordance with customer and internal requirements, as well as industry standards. Candidates will collaborate with multi-disciplined teams across multiple projects to bring design concepts to fruition, providing rapid engineering, fabrication, and prototyping solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle.

You will be responsible for assisting technicians and engineers with general administrative related support activities. The position requires the ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail, support multiple engineers and technicians, and provide a wide variety of administrative and computer related tasks to assist engineering projects. You will perform as primary engineering support focal point for inquiries and problem resolution during the various phases of the engineering/fabrication development cycle and will coordinate and lead activities. Requires strong organization and analytical skills.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Create folders and generate work travelers for incoming support requests
• Support the Bid & Proposal process by inputting data into the template and performing bid reviews
• Maintain communication with engineering, procurement and management to provide status and relay questions
• Material and labor estimating for fabrication requests
• Manage Bill of Material submission to procurement
• Support redlining updates to engineering documentation.
• Provide tools expertise and support (Microsoft O365 Apps, Biketrax/Rapid).
• Perform various complex project management tasks as required
• Provide real-time feedback to technicians and engineers.
• Initiate, coordinate and expedite jobs in the shop and for outside processes
• Support collecting estimates for hardware/raw material
• Receive, follow-up, and send (via Raytrak/Fiori) shipment of customer finished hardware
• Participate in area organization and continuous Improvement activities.
• Perform task closeout activities

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required

• Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics or mechanical drawings
• Experience with Microsoft Office products

• Motivated self-starter with the ability to use good judgement and to work alternatingly independently or collaboratively in an engineering environment

• Ability to prioritize work, understand schedules, and adhere to budgets
