What does a Senior Manager of Commercial Operations do at Swire Coca-Cola?

This position will lead strategic input of product lifecycle management (PLM) across the Bottler Network and our Franchise Brand Partners. The SR Commercial Operations Manager is a contributor to the strategic vision and objectives of the Commercial Marketing team by supporting annual and long-range planning. We are looking for an innovative leader who brings a commercial marketing experience to lead our teams with innovative executable strategies.

Requirements:
  • Develop annual commercial plan and launch strategy for all innovation items providing direction on key strategic commercialization opportunities and execution of our innovation items while driving share of visual inventory (SHOVI), market share, and company profitability
  • Lead the SKU rationalization process and product end-of-life workflow by collaborating cross-functionally to ensure we eliminate unproductive Brands from our portfolio both timely and efficiently
  • Directs new item forecasting process to ensure demand and supply of innovation items are in balance to grow incremental profit for the business
  • Coaches and develops to achieve maximum potential; provides timely and clear direction, development, rewards, and recognition to direct report.
  • Manage the development of reporting tools and key performance indicators geared to measure success of innovation launches, segmentation execution, and stewards’ performance with ELT monthly to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Leads the cross-functional product work stream developing a proactive phased approach to drive sustainability initiatives that maximize long term growth and profitability
  • Lead the Strategic Input at PLM (product lifecycle management) across the Bottler Network, NAOU (North America Opreating Unit), and holds official Swire vote.
  • Leads SKU prioritization process (in collaboration with Supply Chain and Enterprise Research & Analytics) to priority rank produced SKUs for end-to-end planning, aligning on SKU service level agreements for availability by tier group
  • Partner with Commercial Marketing Brand team to build the product segmentation roadmap and translate to channel and customer strategy, and partners with Supply Chain to bring product segmentation to life by geography and channel
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required
  • 8-10 years’ Experience in sales or marketing related role and
  • 4-6 years’ demonstrated experience in delivering sales targets and
  • 2-4 years’ experience in commercial strategy and planning and
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization toolsets
  • Proficient in stages and gates process, SWOT analysis and competitive market analysis
