The Finance Solutions Lead Analyst

is responsible for data analysis and reporting for upcoming new regulations under Basel 4. The analyst will liaise between internal business users and technology teams to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way to drive solution. The overall objective of this role is to compile and present data analysis results to groups internally and drive resolution of any variance and gaps.

Responsibilities:

• Provides in depth analysis of Basel 4 data from Basel infrastructure and identifies key RWA drivers and reports RWA impact estimates
• Appropriately identifies trends across multiple periods and across current Basel 3 and Basel 4 processes
• Develops reporting templates as applicable for Basel exposure types
• As necessary estimates with interim offline methods to support new rules calculation
• Provides input during implementation phases, including formulation and definition of systems scope, objectives and necessary system enhancements
• Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems by analyzing business processes, systems and industry standards
• Provides in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions and influence strategic functional decisions

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of experience
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis
• Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
• Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis

Education:

• BS/BA degree required

Salary Range: 138k-206k
