CMM Programmer - Colorado!!

We have an exciting opportunity with one of the world's leading Space Engineering companies for a CMM Programmer to join our team in Colorado. If successful you would be joining a highly talented and passionate team who are developing a variety of space equipment to explore and utilize space!

WHAT YOU WOULD DO:

• Prove out of written programs to ensure correct running and accurate measurement of component.
• Conduct 1st off inspection from written programs, along with manual measurements to provide a complete 1st off report, including any required corrections.
• Conduct CMM calibration as required.
• Writing CMM Programs from both 2d drawings and 3d CAD models using PC_DMIS.
• Selecting suitable probe build ups to ensure accurate and efficient measurement of components.
• Generate clear and concise CMM reports which display all customer and manufacturing required outputs.
• Conduct running checks using CMM or manual equipment as required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to program CMMs using PC_DMIS.
• Ability to use Leitz CMM.
• Appreciation of general dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience working with high tolerance parts
• A good understanding of inspection of machined parts, utilizing a variety of inspection equipment.
• A hard-working, team player with a keen eye for detail
• Experience in either the Space, Aerospace, Automotive, or Defense Sectors
