Acclaimed Nightshade Noodle Bar from 2023 James Beard Nominee for Outstanding Chef Rachel Miller is searching for 1 full time server/bartender. Named in the top 5 restaurants in Boston by Boston Magazine, and a recipient of the 2nd ever 5 star review from Devra First at the Boston Globe, Nightshade brings Vietnamese/French inspired blind tasting menus, chic jungle vibes, natural wines and tropical cocktails to the heart of downtown Lynn, MA. The music is loud, the food is exciting, the guests are the best around, and the team is friendly, talented and unpretentious.

Professionals with 4+ years restaurant experience, ideally some time in fine dining, who are clean, organized, professional, ambitious and above all, love hospitality are encouraged to apply. Shifts are evening only, Thursday through Sunday. Nightshade is closed Monday-Wednesday.

Nightshade offers a blind tasting menu experience- guests choose 7-14 courses and the rest is in our hands, so server/bartenders act as emcees of the experience, offering tailored beverage pairings, describing often unusual luxury seafood and Vietnamese offerings, and anticipating ways to elevate the experience. Our guests are the best- adventurous and trusting, they help provide a job that is ideal for anyone who loves hospitality and food.

Nightshade Noodle Bar strives to provide a fair and equitable environment for all team members- a 20% Admin Fee is added to all checks and shared among all team members, cooks included. To compensate for the larger pool, $10/hr is paid out for time worked- full time (4 shifts/wk) bartenders and servers typically take home $1200-$1500 a week. Shifts typically last 8-9 hours.

Nightshade closes 2 weeks per year for built in vacation time. We are located on the commuter rail, 3 stops from North station, and on several bus lines going to the red, blue and orange lines.

License/Certification:
