About the Job:
Assistant General Manager(AGM)
Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager (RGM), the Assistant Manager runs shifts with excellence while executing all restaurant administrative duties. In the absence of the RGM, this role must provide the leadership necessary to ensure the restaurant can sustain an acceptable level of day-to-day operations.
Shift Lead.
The Shift Lead reports to the General Manager and AGM. The responsibilities of Shift Lead is to be able to run the Shift. To make sure all employees are performing their job correctly. That they are punching in and out in time. Taking their meal breaks etc in time. To ensure the food is made correctly and with correct speed. Ensure Food Safety, Quality and Accuracy. To take care of guests and resolve any issues. Personally demonstrate that taking care of the Guest is the most important task.
The Day-to-Day:
Ensure consistent customer satisfaction:
· Effectively role-model the MIC success routine and ensure responsibilities under people, customer, and service are completed
· Ensure that all Team Member positions are executed according to their Shift Excellence responsibilities
· Personally demonstrate that customer needs are the highest priority
· Manage the restaurant in the absence of the RGM
Developing people:
· Help the RGM assess the team and provide input on employee relations, team conflict, recognition, etc.
· Provide ongoing constructive and complimentary feedback to the team
· Handle people issues as they occur when the RGM is out of the restaurant: Able to determine what can be resolved immediately or needs RGM attention
· Assist in RGM sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Team Members
Act Like an Owner
· Assist profit & Loss management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports and taking appropriate action
· Have a strong working knowledge of administrative processes (understand reports and respond appropriately)
· Assist RGM with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times
