Potash Markets are looking for an experienced meat cutter/butcher to cut meat on a daily basis. The meat cutter should demonstrate a passion for food and ensure customer satisfication is top priority.

Job Duties:

• 
  Provide exceptional customer service
• Ensure the meat cases are well-stocked with fresh, high-quality meat and poultry products for our customers.
• Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery, to ensure meat quality.
• Stock, cut, wrap, weigh, label and price cuts of meat.
• Assist customers with special requests and answer questions about our meat products and services.
• Clean equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standards

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
• Previous experience working with equipment like meat saws, slicers, grinders, wrapping machines, and knives.
• Must be able to concentrate on the task at hand when working with large knives, grinders and other dangerous objects.
• Good hand-eye coordination is needed when handling knives and slippery pieces of meat. Some cuts require precision and a steady hand.
• Ability to work with customers to fulfill orders, answer questions and make recommendations for different cuts of meat.
• Ability to be stand for long periods of time.
