Selected individual will become part of the Receiving Center Operations (RCO) team in Palmdale.
Candidate will join a select group of individuals who are responsible for providing Production Control support to Palmdale programs.
Will utilize MRP (Material Resource Planning), preferably SAP and the Palmdale order location system (SFM) to review and adjust shop schedules. Will expedite the receipt of materials and repairs to meet demands. Will coordinate and balance multiple sources of demands along with coordinating capacity planning constraint resolution and incorporating corresponding resolution into SAP.
Will forecast supply- demand mismatches; communicate up and down supply chain to support demands/supply matching.
Will attend / chair status meetings advising management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
Must have the ability to resolve issues that may arise in the manufacturing process by interfacing with all supporting organizations.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Candidate must have the ability to acquire a Secret Clearance, after starting this role.

This position offers a sign-on bonus of $15,000.00 for external candidates. If selected for this position, the sign-on bonus is subject to applicable taxes and will be processed and paid shortly after you begin employment with Lockheed Martin
Basic Qualifications:
- MRP experience such as SAP or ERP4C
- Inventory, warehousing or logistics experience
- Experience with managing inventory to meet scheduling and production requirements
Must have ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance, per business requirements; Interim Secret DOD required to start
Desired Skills:
- Experience with shop floor operating processes
- Experience standardizing and improving material flow
and operational processes
- Demonstrated problem resolution skills
Strong communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to adapt to new technology

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $63,500 - $119,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
