The Challenge:
This role is more than just coding. We need a software developer intern who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. Using a variety of languages, rapid prototyping, and Agile software development, you’ll work with the development team to develop and deploy software for both internal and client-facing projects across a variety of technologies and platforms. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to help make sure the solution the team develops considers the architecture and operating environment and future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:
Experience with programming languages, including .NET, C++, JavaScript, Java, or Python in a professional, academic, or internship work environment
Knowledge of software development best practices
Ability to learn new languages and frameworks
Ability to work in groups
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree by Spring 2023 to Winter 2024
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Agile development
Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts
Possession of excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics-related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,900.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. Work Model
