Position Overview:

As a member of one of our products team, this person will be responsible for creating, enhancing, and supporting common features. Working side-by-side with Product Managers, Software Test Engineers, and Business Stakeholders, our Software Engineers are actively involved in the complete software development life cycle in an agile environment including technical design, hands-on coding, unit testing, performance tuning, maintenance, test automation, deploys, and upgrades. Specifically, this position will align with a platform product responsible for building dynamic workflows that integrate the Paylocity suite of applications.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology-related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of software development experience using .NET and MSSQL, building and deploying RESTful APIs, and/or Microsoft SQL Server or similar relational database management system
• Experience with Amazon Web Services offerings such as Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFormation stacks etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with object-oriented design and development preferably in C#, utilizing automated testing and API first development
• Development experience using React and/or Angular
• Familiar with modern architectures such as microservices and operational tools such as DataDog

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $146,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
