EverCharge is a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging devices and management systems and provides hardware and software EV charging solutions for fleets, multi-unit, and single-family homes. Our Software Engineering Intern

Will work as a part of the engineering team to develop and maintain software applications, will work under the guidance of senior software engineers, and will collaborate with other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to design, develop, and deploy software applications.
• Troubleshoot and fix software bugs and issues
• Assist in the development of software documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and other support materials.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code written by other team members.
• Learn and apply best practices in software development, including coding standards, version control, and testing methodologies.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the software development process.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and apply them to current and future projects.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Undergraduate junior or senior or graduate student standing.
• Strong programming skills in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++
• Understanding of software development best practices, including coding standards, version control, and testing methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Title and Compensation:

• The hourly rate for this position is between $25.00 and $35.00
• Actual hourly rate are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and work location.
• This is an entry-level internship position, and no prior professional experience is required. However, candidates with previous software development experience or related coursework will be given preference.
