Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a well-trained and motivated DEV/Test Engineer (SDET) who is passionate about testing software through automation.
- This role will include collaboration with external data providers and other partner teams.
- Someone who relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with a degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- You'll work closely with product and engineering teams to identify features, develop and automate system validation strategies to improve product quality and shorten release time from dev to production.
- This position involves the test and validation of applications, databases, data transformations, and services in the overall application architecture.
- Identify and implement solutions using internal and open-source tools & infrastructure
- Reviewing data integration solutions for conformity and functionality
- Working with other software engineers to understand product architecture and features
- Create and maintain scenarios to support development and test activities
- Working in an Agile environment to deliver high quality software
- Write and maintain test scenarios and scripts for Restful Services and API using advanced frameworks.
- Automation experience working with technologies like Java, Python, Java Script, C# .Net etc.
- Familiar with javascript based frameworks
- Experience working with AWS cloud technologies required
- SQL and ability to write complex queries required
Qualifications:
Education/Requirements/Technical Competencies:
- 7+ years' experience with software development and testing or 4 year college degree (preferably computer software related) (required)
- 4+ years Software Development or SDET experience - (required) Preferred Language Java
- 2+ years experience with AWS Cloud technologies (required)
- 2+ years of automated software testing(preferred)
- Experience with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries (required)
- Knowledge and experience with SDLC (strongly preferred)
- Experience developing and executing test cases (required)
- Experience with testing batch processes (required)
- Must demonstrate knowledge of fundamental development and testing principles, concepts and techniques (required)
- Experience evaluating and recommending testing tools and techniques. Perform the administration of testing tools (required)
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and customer service skills (required)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (required)
- Strong team player and self-starter (required).
