As Sous Chef, you will lead our passionate culinary TEAM creating unforgettable experiences for our guests through the preparation and presentation of high quality foods from our menu.

In this role you will assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies. Ensure that food is top quality and that kitchen is in good condition. Keeps stations clean and complies with food safety standards

This leader must create an exceptional climate of professional and personable service that ensures the engagement of employees, guests, and owners. Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation and alcohol standards.

Requirements:

• 5 years of related experience in a hotel setting
• A true desire to understand and anticipate the needs of others in a fast paced environment
• Schedule flexibility, ability to work weekends and holidays, and a varied mix of day and evening shifts
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, including a working knowledge of point of sale systems (Micros)
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Proven leadership skills
• Possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, and effective in providing exceptional customer service.
• Marriott brand experience a plus
